I have updated the programme and there is no baseline selected, ie in the assign base line box, all the baselines are shown as "current project"

then my early start and finish date should match with BL start and BL finish, but for  activities which are progressed, the are  not matching why?

after you create the baseline (in Maintain Baseline) you have to assign it using (Assign baseline). Try to use Project Start and Finish column instead of Expected Start/Fin
