Does anyone have an idea how to handle the following problem??

our project has 15 locations. for each location we have made a wbs.
now the client has canceled 1 location and has added 2 more locations.

now for a better overview i would like to leave the canceled location
in the gantt chart and add the 2 new locations.

How can I change the collor of the cancelled activitie bars to highlight the situation, etc.

If anyone has an idea, i would be thankfull.

cheers

a possible solution would be:

1. give the cancelled activities smth in common such as:

- an activity code "Status" and assign the value "Cancelled"

- a user defined field and assign values like "Cancelled" or RED depending on the data type you select (text or indicator)

2. create a filter that returns these activities

3. use that filter to create a new custom bar in your Gantt chart and set the color let's say red and append as label the value of the activity code or UDF (Cancelled)

let me know if you need further help with any of the steps
(reply here or tibi_trotil@yahoo.co.uk / tistrate@totalsoft.ro
